Their Story

I was the youngest of nine children born to George & Abby Bolt and blessed to have them for parents.

They were honest and hard working Dry Land Farmers in Buffalo Co., Nebraska.  Like many others, they lost everything as a result of the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl.  Both lived 30 plus years after that and no one recalls them ever talking about their losses.  Only their gratitude for what they had.

Truly, a remarkable couple.  They have been gone for many years now, and I still miss them.
